It's fairly rare that you know the workout before you arrive at Crossfit, that's part of that unknown and unknowable thing they love, also known as curiosity in my world.
Today the WOD is known, which really puts me in a double bind. It looks beyond brutal, running is not my strongest suit, and there is a lot of it in this workout. I am more than a little scared of it, which means there is no way in hell I can't show up for it. I might die, figuratively, of course, but in reality it is a fundraiser for some great men and women who did die at Fort Hood.
Please support me with encouragement and, if you can, a donation to help the families of the victims of the Fort Hood Tragedy. Thank you

The Chicken or the Egg?
Is Will Smith so wise because he is successful, or did he become so successful because he is so wise?

THE Deadlift
After just two months of Crossfit, I am getting my fitness mojo back. I can't really recall the last time I deadlifted 305 lbs. Maybe I got close when I was in my 20's. I have Crossfit and my coach Vic to thank.
